Personal Branding

Personal Branding is where an individual or Business creates a "brand" that people can associate with that person or entity. Personal Branding is a trend that many people are trying to learn how to do effectively right now because Google has made a shift towards brands.

Brands are being associated with meaning and in order for people to rank highly in what they intend to sell or service to get the quality leads they are seeking they will need to be making this shift as well.

What does this mean for you? simply it means you need to be drafting a core you and begin resonating with your target audience in order to understand how they view you and begin shifting towards that Niche. If you are new to this concept and do not have a following whom you can poll you will want to define your core and begin adding content to key sites.

"Wait!... So I need to become a Brand!?", Yes you need to begin making either your name something that people online will identify with a certain Niche. A good example of someone who has done thi would be Steve Gewecke AKA the MLMPhonePro. He has taken what he has defined as his core abilities of Direct Sales Conference calling experience of over 18 years in his industry and made that his Niche. He has defined a very specific ability and service of phone expertise and he gives away many of his phone tips for free on his blogg and this has allowed him to be easy to find online for his specific Niche market and spend a lot less time chasing cold leads.

After seeing Steve's Blogg and how it correctly acts as a Hubb for his prospects to enter his sales funnel many people will think that they can easily create a personal brand themselves and though it may be as easy as signing up for a few social networks it is really about how you present yourself over the entire network as an expert. You will need to be giving a lot of yourself and though you may see immediate results the best and most effective results will be rewarded with the most time and quality content you deliver to your target audience as they begin to respect you as an expert in your field or niche.

Personal Branding is something that takes time and effort but it can be done by anyone who is willing to define themselves and their niche market value and stay consistent to their plan and purpose. Personal branding is unique for each person since the world is made up of billions of people how are we to personify the unique attribute of the individual without them first examining themselves and being ready and equipped to handle the learning that will accompany any personal brand. The learning I am talking about is getting involved and beginning the basics of social media. Our company is currently in production of in house how to videos but there are plenty of great sources for you to be looking for if you believe your strongest outlet is ________ (Facebook, Twitter, etc....)

When you are building your personal brand you will want to make sure you keep track of what you are putting online as it is visible to the whole world and is now a record for others to look up as they research if they are going to connect with you and buy your goods/services. BE SURE TO BE CONSISTENT.

Another thing that is extremely powerful as you build your brand is personal connections. When you delve into social media be sure to BE SOCIAL. When others comment on your articles, blogs, posts, videos, tweets, etc... you need to reply to them promptly do not wait a week to do this it will not help your growth on these social platforms and will likely make others who have followed you or added you as their friend unhappy with your service.

I would recommend making a to-do list for these platforms so it becomes second nature to you to log in and check them all in 10-30 minutes in the morning or in a lapse in your day. Just taking these steps will place you above and beyond the majority. Then once you see for yourself the possibilities of what each of these platforms can do for your business or for your music career etc... (it applies to everyone who sells anything)

Therefore I want to encourage anyone who had lost faith in the business model of "hard work + quality content + being yourself = honest profit" now you can apply the same good principle online and the spammers will no longer be able to show you up in the ranking because of the great new changes that Google has made.
