Shattering the Status Quo --- Poems
63Sunrise
It Begins in the Morning Light
Twilight breaks the lush lavender light walks briskly over the cool morning air.
Chirp flutter the birds move on the the ebb and flow of the currents.
Ideas Light Passion New Beginnings Where do we even begin to care?
On the wings of steel we ride forth capturing and preserving the days sweet light.
Now my life has been lost
I owe no cost
Freely given to me and freely accepted
freedom from the curtains of complacency
I now have purpose
I now have peace
the record stops, trips over its ridges, skips to track 9
Now the music has fades and all has slipped away
the passion the prose are finished
Vision through the mirror
